The house operates with 7 (seven) staff and houses up to 15 (fifteen) residents. The Freedom Foundation receives core funding from the Department of Community Services and United Way.

However, we still find ourselves with a financial shortfall and must raise some of our own funding.

How we use the Funds

Funds raised this year will be applied as follows:

• To help with budget shortfalls to ensure existing services are maintained
• To undertake renovations and upgrade equipment and furniture not covered in the operating budget
• To enable the Freedom Foundation to become more self sufficient, reducing its dependence on government funding;
• To enhance services directed at residents recovery
