Any resident who feels his rights have been violated by any staff person will be respectfully offered an opportunity for an unbiased discussion with the Director in private, to address his concerns.

1. As a resident of the Freedom Foundation of Nova Scotia you will be respected as a man without judgment because of your past.
2. Your privacy will be respected always. No staff person will enter your room without knocking.
3. You will be asked and not told with regards to your chores and requesting your assistance with help in other job situations.
4. No staff person is to raise his / her voice, curse, threaten, or attempt to humiliate you at any time.
5. Concerns with your behaviour will be discussed in private by staff.
6. You will be notified at the earliest possible convenience of any changes taking place within the home.
